You could always re-read a Harry Potter book.   :D

They're on my list, I'm just trying to space 'em out so I'm not done with them too long before #7 comes out next year.  PoA is next on the list.

I will say I really don't like Sophie Kinsella. Her books are rambling, and seem to be a (gutter) watered down of Pride & Prejudice/Bridget Jones. Girl finds annoying rich guy. Rich guy is not so annoying, but girl is, and you can't figure out why guy likes her.

I am supposed to empathize with said girl, but I just want to kick her.  :P

I have not read anything in the genre yet that I liked, but I tend to not like fiction. I am a non-fiction girl.  8) Though Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire cn sort of be seen as type of chick lit...hmm..

Let's take our wigs off in the shopi aisle and fight it out.

Sprigged, if you liked Georgina, you'll love 'Aristocrats: Caroline, Emily, Louise and Sarah Lennox 1750-1832' by Stella Tillyard.

Yeah, I found a Sophie Kinsella book, I think it was the first one, 'Confessions of a Shopaholic', in an airport.  So of course I picked it up.  And then put it back down in the next airport for someone else to find - then instantly thought of the American version of 'The Ring'.   ;D

you can usually find yourself connected to the character in some way.  Well...at least if you are a singleton in London, surronded by smug marrieds  ;D

ha ha totally!  ;)

I think I like Sophie Kinsella because I... relate. There, I've said it.

Hi, I'm Anne and I'm a shopaholic.
