Any Ex-Berliners up here ??...Cheap Accomodation Info Needed (Love Pararde)

Hi again good people!

Ok i doubt there would be anyone here planning a trip to Berlin for the Love Parade but hubby and i are planning a trip in July and if there are any " Berliners " that can throw a few pointers on finding clean and budget motels/room  for 3-4 days...

Please hollar!

...thought about renting room in someone's flat/house...not sure if that would be best approach.

We are going!  Thursday-Monday flying from Bristol.  MeShell found us several hotels, I didnt chose which one to stay in just yet.  Send her a PM and she can give you some details.   I have a friend doing her internship in Berlin all summer, we may stay with her.  Conveniently enough, she is German too!

at the Olivaer Apart. Got good price through expedia and hotel was good value although a little old fashioned.

I've now got 'Take her to the Love Parade' by 'Van Hool' (i think that's the band name!) stuck in my head again!

This was one of my favourite dance anthems when it came out in 98 I think it was..

It sounded awesome in the car as I was Car Audio Equipment sub dealing at the time and had my setup tweaked for Sound Quality!

Ahhh the memories...

I stayed here http://www.pegasushostel.de/de/ in February...v clean, handy for trains, and near a great all-night falafel bar.  It is a hostel, but I know they have rooms for 3 so I suspect they have rooms for two.  It might even be under your budget, but I like to travel cheaply and spend my money on beer instead!
