Sending books from the US
« on: January 05, 2004, 01:44:33 PM »
Can anyone tell me the cheapest way to get my books from the US to the UK.  I left about 8 or 9 book size boxes full of books in a friends attic and now she needs the room.  What is the cheapest way to get them here.

Oh and I found that book stores here are not like the ones I used to go to. More English authors and not as many American. Duh!!   ;D   Beginning to enjoy going in the bookstores again since I found some English authors I like but at first I felt totally lost.

Tell your friend to go to the Post Office and get an M bag.  That fits TONNES of books and is the cheapest way to send them.
