Electric or manual.  and why?

mine is a wooden paddle that I use for sauteeing.

my trusty old time chef's knife.  we've been through thick & thin together.

A couple of ancient wooden spoons that were my mother's. I love 'em!

Does a cork screw count?  I think the reasons are obvious.

My spatula.  Although, that maybe because I'm craving pancakes at the moment!

ohhh what a great question... I'd have to say either my 50 year never-been-washed cast-iron skillet, or my trusty old wooden spoons.

Chef's knife.  It's just so perfect and it makes it easy to cook.  I hate being at other people's houses and having to use their knives because they just don't feel right.

Manual - my knives!  I love them!
Electrical - my blender...I'm a smoothie junkie...a close second, my juicer.

I have a wooden paddle that I use every day too -- so that's certainly the most used tool.  I think my fave would be the coffeemaker though 'cause I couldn't live without brewed coffee in the morn. :)

My KitchenAid mixer.  I've got weak hands and wrists (arthritis and carpal tunnel) so it's lovely not to have to use a hand mixer.
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

My KitchenAid mixer.

I love my KitchenAid stand mixer.  If I could marry it, I would. :-*

I left mine in the US. Three years on, I'm still suffering from the PTSD.

I keep asking my bf for one for birthdays, Christmas, etc. He's not good at remembering, though. So far I've received a KitchenAid toaster and a KitchenAid blender. Both lovely ... but not exactly what I need!

I have a huge skillet that is really deep and I use it all the time!  It's gotten warped by the heat, but I will continue to use it until I can find something equally as great, in both size and depth.  My only complaint is I wish it had a lid--I have to use a big round cookie sheet as a makeshift lid :)
