can you freeze alchol successfully?  i keep my gin in the freezer- and it never freezes.  i think some experimentation is in order to see what alchol/mixer ratio freezes fully.  if it doesn't freeze- no biggie just drink like a slushie/smoothie.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't drink gin, but I know that vodka doesn't freeze. Would a frozen cosmo really be frozen? I mean, either way it would be delicious, but I just wondered.

Alcohol has a lower freezing point than water that's why it won't freeze in a domestic freezer unless it's mixed with something else like fruit juice.  Your g&ts pops should be ok preusming they're more T than G!  ;)

And LOTS of lemon juice, I might add.

im sure this is a stupid question, but... can can these cocktail pops get you drunk?

Oh you mean like when you cook with wine the alcohol evaporates? I don't think anything happens when you freeze it, it'll still get you pished.

Wow, this has taken my ice lolly idea to a whole new level!
I love those sippy ones.  My mom used to have those when I was little.

I've been making them with strawberries, bananas, pineapple and OJ.  My little one loves them and has been having them as one of his 'daily' fruits after dinner.
