Social Networking (Facebook, MySpace, etc)

I'm on the school computer now, but when I get home I'm going to try to figure out how to get it to stop....there has to be a way. It's driving me crazy!!! And myspace is the only website it's done it for so far.         

hmmmm, I have McAfee and myspace, but I've never had that happen to me...

Two of my friends are having the same problem, but they aren't very computer savvy and want me to make it stop.    I played around with it for a little while last night, but couldn't fix it.  \

I'm beyond irritated right now. Myspace was working fine last night before I went to bed. I woke up this morning and can't get to the site. It's now almost 8pm and I haven't been able to sign in or check anything. I want to get on so I can check on a friend who just landed in London on her DPV & it's her first trip there.

It does one of 2 things. I'll put in the address and it will just spin...and spin and spin until it brings up a page that says "page cannot be displayed"

OR it will go to the page and it won't let me sign on. I can look at the classifieds and look at music pages but I can't look at any kind of normal profile or sign on

Anyone having any problems with it today?

It magically stopped on my computer.  I never did anything to it, but I stopped getting the annoying message.

I downloaded some Quick Time upgrade and it stopped. Who knows if that's what actually fixed it!

Reeeka, I saw last night that they were having problems with the new messages and friend requests, so it's possible they were doing a system upgrade or something when you were trying to log on.

the page doesn't even come up anymore. it's annoying me

have your tried deleating your cookies, history, etc, then rebooting your computer? That seems to work for me if I ever have trouble with web stuff.

Just an update to those of you who are my friends on Myspace.  I deleted my account because someone kept hacking into it.  It wasn't worth the constant changing of passwords.
 

FaceBook is SO much better than MySpace.    It's no longer restricted to just students; anyone can use it.

ANYTHING is better than myspace. It's got to be the worst, most user unfriendly blogsite there is.
