I don't know about seeing it, but you have to be invited to join by one of the officers.

apparently there's a link to "request to join the group" so i clicked on it.

I like myspace better, except that facebook actually notifies you when something changes for any of your friends, which is very cool.

I would remove it but there's no modify link on that post. However, there's nothing highly descriptive there. Its a copy of my facebook profile which i've kept all important specifics out of as its open to the public on facebook.

Just a note to whoever is in charge of the UK Yankee group on Facebook .... might be nice if you included a link to UK Yankee somewhere ... I can't see one on the profile page, apologies if I missed it.

I actually originally included a link to UKY on the group profile, but early members didn't really want to keep it there - the reasoning being that many of us have Facebook friends that we don't really want following us back over to the UKY forums and reading our posts - and I'm cool with that, so I deleted it.  It's intended to be a group for UKY members who find themselves on Facebook, rather than expats in general, so a link is probably unnecessary.
