Just wondering - do you guys give your real name on facebook?  I really don't feel comfortable with that.  My first name yes, but not my last.

My real name is on facebook...over half the folks that are my "friends" are folks that I went to school with from the age of 5 to 18, so it'd be a bit useless for me to use a fake name.

My real name is on my facebook profile- the vast majority of my friends are people I know from high school and college so it's not a big deal (facebook started to get really popular when I was in the middle of college so pretty much everyone I know is on it.)

I think I only have maybe 10 people added as friends who I have never met in person...and those are people I've interacted with personally on UKY and other places online.

I understand the need for privacy though- the fact that my full name is on my profile is the reason why I'm not in the UK-Yankee facebook group since I don't necessarily know everyone in there (although I'm fairly sure that I may join once I get married and have a more anonymous last name...and I think a certain group administrator should make the group secret so that only members can see the list of other members! *hint hint*)
