One of my family friends wore Basic Canvas Sneakers and got them encrusted with jewels...they were so cute and she was comfortable.

You can't see them so why be uncomforable all day long?  :-\\\\

Shoe name is Metaphor Serena

It's a gorgeous glass slipper looking shoe. Was totally comfortable.

I got some black shoes from Payless.  2 inch heel, I think.  I actually didn't have any black heels, so I decided I should get some that I can wear again.  I'm not very interested in shoes, as a rule.

I also decided that I'm going to wear them like this with these stockings, just for fun:

Where are you all finding the white flats?  My DF is exactly my height.  I can handle being a bit taller on other days, but not the wedding day.  I'm having an awful time finding white flats that I like.  Everything I'm finding has at least some heel or will provide no support during a day on my feet (flip flops won't work for me).  It doesnt' help that I'm in a small town--not too many choices here.

My shoes look like this :)  I'm quite short so I wanted something high and also they are really comfortable.  I wear tall heels a lot so it was the perfect choice for me.

I could not walk in heels if my life depended on it.  I have weak ankles and very high arches.  I got ballet style shoes (with hard soles and no heel) from the same shop where I bought my gown.  They were actually quite comfy, I think.  I don't really remember even thinking about my shoes.  I was too elated to think about much of anything other than, "My family's all here!" and "I am getting married!" and "I just got married!" and "I'm having a great time," etc.

Just wanted to add... in case anyone was unaware....  that 'pumps' in the UK are flat shoes.
What we used to call 'pumps' in the USA are mainly called 'court shoes' here.

Thanks for pointing that out.  I did not know that!

I bought a pair of sandals with kitten heels, but when I went around trying dresses on my feet swelled up into little puddings, and the woman in the bridal store said you could get wedding trainers.  I have searched all over for these and have came up not so empty handed.

I am planning on getting these ~> http://www.schuhstore.co.uk/item_main_frameset.asp?s_ref=130800 (hope the link works).  I am not a shoe person, and I don't do heels, I look and am very clumsy in them!!  But I think those shoes there are so pretty, and all embroidered with flowers too.

Mine were from Stead & Simpson, but I think I saw some white ballet flats in the window of New Look the other day.

My fiance is about 6 inches taller than me so no worries about heel height there. However I am getting a rather big bump, and not necessarily the most graceful anymore (I look like a drunken penguin these days, which isnt helped by the fact that I have one leg shorter than the other, AND I walk funny to begin with :P) so I have to get a low heel, probably no more than an inch, and it cant be very narrow.

Where might I find 1/2 sizes? Im actually a 5.5 here but have to go with 6 usually because I cant find half sizes in stores  :(

I found the dress, now for the shoes :) And veil, and tiara....

Oooh, what does the dress look like?  As for the veil and tiara...e-bay!  ;)

The type of shoes that Chara posted look like they'd be kind to the feet of a pregnant woman.  I'm actually contemplating getting some Mary Jane style flats, because I am really not used to walking in heels and I want to be comfortable standing up all day.  Hmmm...

I wore ballet slippers.  I got them at a dance store--much cheaper than at the wedding stores!  They came in either a leather off-white or a satin bright-white.  As my dress was ivory, I got the off-white ones.  They didn't have the hard sole that some people talk of though, as they were really just ballet slippers for dancing (so had a soft, bendable leather sole area).  But I found them to be very comfortable, and was glad I got them.
