I gave up on the choc chip years ago as the price of a small bag of them from Sainsburys was ludicrous. I buy chocolate bars and chop them up with a very large butcher knife.... ;)

Plain Chocolate is what you would know as semi-sweet.  ;)

I found Kraft Macaroni & Cheese at ASDA (maybe it was Tesco, but pretty sure ASDA). It's easy to miss because the box is red with yellow writing and looks really generic but it is indeed Kraft. I bought a couple but it tasted horrible to me. Like, it had some really odd taste to it. I thought it was just me...like, my taste was off that day or something but I made it again another day and it still had this horrible taste to it. I don't know what it was.

<edit>It was called Kraft Cheesey Pasta..

Yes, I have heard it compared to the taste and smell of a wet dog. I've never had it, that description was enough for me.  ;D

so...has anyone found anything comparable to Nestle Tollhouse morsels??? I've found "chocolate chips", but not semi-sweet.

FYI, dh works for Waitrose and he has just informed me that they've started carrying Nestle Tollhouse.... No guarantees that all Waitrose's will have them, but the big ones that carry most or all of their lines should do....  :D

Those are the two things I get in the USA.. have not seen Franks anywhere, but you can get Newman's Own Ranch at many supermarkets. :-)

What's the Newmans Own like?
Is it similar to Hidden Valley?
