Although not in the UK - this company lets you shop at Vons and ships it to you.

Betty Crocker is not normally in supply over here, right? Because I've never seen it in Sainsburys.

So I was shocked and delighted to see the mini-mart attached to our apartment building carries Betty Crocker! Only two options though - chocolate chip cookies and devils food cake.

My only thought is that they get foreign products for cheaper somehow? Because they often have cheap or generic brands rather than main brands you find in a proper food store.

So anyway! Anyone in the Manchester/Salford area who desperately wants some Betty Crocker cookies or cake, you can find them at Sovereign Food & Wine, next to the Lowry Outlets on the Salford Quays.

My husband says he's seen a few other american things in there but I don't know what they are/were.

Just thought I'd spread the word for anyone in the Hertfordshire Area There is a new store thats opened up in Radlett called TZAR DELI, which carries a selection of American food, among other nice things. Mostly cereals, betty crocker, and bisquick, but i got some mini marshmallows among other things to make home made rice krispie treats, yea!

Owner is very friendly, very much wanted to hear what I would like to see in the store as an american customer. Lots of other good treats too. Located on Radlett high street. If you are coming out of the train station you make a left and it is just a bit past TESCO'S on the same side of the street.

Owner said the local kids had been going crazy for the american cereal- the kids were all hopped up on sugar from the french toast crunch and lucky charms. god bless the usa! ha ha!

Most Asdas stock Betty Crocker brownie mix, and the one in Falkirk also does 2 or 3 different flavours of Betty Crocker cake mix as well.

Tesco commonly stocks Bisquick and one or two Betty Crocker mixes (cookies/cake).

Sainsbury's in my neighborhood (Angel Islington, London) has a large selection of Betty Crocker mixes, including brownies, cookies and cakes.

And here's the big news for Londoners. For those who haven't heard, WHOLE FOODS MARKET is opening a store in Kensington and promises to be the largest grocery store in london when it opens this summer!  Sneak peek here:

Thanks for all of the great links.

I've already packed a suitcase with bags of tootsie rolls hiding within my clothing, as well as beef jerky (for my boyfriend, who insists that American beef jerky is better).

Looking forward to ordering some pumpkin pie filling and making a pumpkin pie for the Brits here who've never tasted some.
The chances are there's a reason we've been left here, but I'm not disappointed.  - Idlewild

I posted this earlier on the thread, but if you are in or are coming to London, Partridge's Food in Kensington has it!  www.partridges.co.uk.

I was wondering if someone who shopped at Whole Foods often could answer a question for me.  My husband's mum has Celiac's, and whenever he came to visit the US, I'd load him up with brown rice (I think) flour cookies.  I'd get them at our local co-op or at the Wegman's natural food section.  I can't remember the brand name [I googled and found they are called "Pamela's", ]but they came [in a box..dur, don't know I was thinking clear plastic sleeve].  The flavours were chocolate chunk and pecan and so on.  I was just wondering if anyone has seen them there or could look for me the next time you are shopping.

I am not sure if there is a Whole Foods around there.  I could ask my husband when he gets home, but he probably won't know.  There's probably one right around the corner for all I know.  :P

Thanks in advance.  :D

ETA: They'd be in the gluten free section if they weren't mixed right in with the normal biscuits.

If you are in London, check out 'Fresh and Wild' and 'Planet Organic'.  They have loads of stuff for coeliacs and have very helpful staff.

I will check them out for her (I am not sure where she's been on her own for special foods).  She's just really partial to those cookies, and admittedly, they are pretty good.

There's also a big Whole Foods in London.  :)
