I'm pretty sure Chapstick has been around in the UK for years - I knew what it was back in the late 80's when my parents went skiing and took me along with them (I was 4 years old) :P.

My Boots sells them in plain, strawberry, apple and medicated (if I'm remembering them correctly) - I've been using the strawberry one for a year now :).

Hi

Does anyone know where I can buy Nestle Pretzel Flipz in London. Used to love these but unfortunately they stopped doing them in the UK. I managed to get a pack in Lets Eat in Milton Keynes but when I went back last time they didn't have any. I have tried Cybercandy in Covent Garden as they have them listed on their website but they didn't have any in the store.

I was wondering if anyone knew anywhere else that should stock them in London as I am going there this weekend.

Thanks
Craig

Cybercandy has those.  I saw them the last time I was in there.

If you're looking for US craft beers - beyond Sierra Nevada - try here - newcomer link: http://www.beermerchants.com/product-list&P.CountryOfOrigin=175 [nonactive]

I found they have Port Brewing and Lost Abbey from San Diego.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but Americalicious (In Bridgnorth Shrops, near to Wolverhampton) has US food imported, lots to choose from, mainly candy, soda, cookies and general groceries, slightly pricey, but i guess one would expect that, and it's only 10 miles away from my house!!!  ;D Great for pickles!!

I can find Chapstick in almost any Boots/Superdrug!  I miss Carmex! (you can find the little tubs, but not the sticks?)

My Boots store has Carmex in little squeezy tubes with screw caps on, but I haven't seen any sticks at all.

Chapstick was totally a staple of my teenage years in the UK. I think it is one of those brands/items that have always been found on both sides of the pond, like Olay and Tampax.

They sell Carmex in a regular waxy stick in the Sainsbury's on Wilton Road near Victoria Station.  At least they did about 2 months ago when I got mine.

There is an American food shop in Milton Keynes called Lets Eat. It is in the main shopping mall. They also have a website letseatdirect.com. I'm also sure you can buy American foods on ebay but I have never purchased anything from there.

Liz, it's been over a year since I was there but I don't recall that they did. The staff are pretty helpful and many are American (at least they were then). You might want to ring them and ask.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
