For those of you in the London area, I was in Panzer's in St John's Wood on Saturday, and in addition to their usual stock of US goodies, they had a huge shipment of tinned pumpkin.

Just in case anyone is craving some ranch dressing:  I almost peed my pants over the weekend when I discovered none other than Hidden Valley Ranch dressing at Longacres Nursery in Bagshot!  I cant wait to dip things in it :)

Garsons Farm in Esher do Ranch, as well as Stove Top, saltines, Vlasic dill pickles (whole), Smuckers, Aunt Jemima AND Libby's pumpkin.

Sigh. Has anyone found a source in Manchester?  I think I can get it through Ocado, but I'd have to have it delivered to work--and I'm not sure that's okay. There's not really a Waitrose near us, I don't think.

Hiya, I was frustrated too when Kikkoman soy sauce went missing from the shelves at Tesco, Morrisons, Co op and researched it on line. I went to the official kikkoman site and there is a campaign to get it restocked  http://www.kikkoman.co.uk/home/bring_back.shtml
if enough customers request it thru their site, it might be brought back. As an alternate, we searched into some small Asian markets and they carry the big 1 litre bottles of kikkoman. Less than a fiver as well. Hope its back on local shop shelves soon.

I saw Kikkoman back in the shelf at my local Sainsbury in Kew/Richmond. They had been out of stock for months until last week.

My corner shop in Kew also stocks lots of America goodies (me thinks there are a lot of Americans living in Richmond). It's called Squires Food and Wine and it's located off Sandycombe Rd. They have Libby's (though I did just buy the last two cans on the shelf) Countrytime Lemonade, Jif, Cornbread and Pancake Mixes, lots of cereals, and lots of American candies (I saw dark chocolate and peanut butter M&Ms on just a quick glance). Prices aren't too bad (my Libbys were £1.75 a can) and if you live in the area you can't beat the convience.

In my neighborhood (Horsforth), about 5 miles from Leeds city centre, is a wonderful little deli / coffee shop called Pooky & Grumps.  I noticed the other day they have Fluff as well as Reese's pb cups and Hershey's bars.  There were a couple other American items as well.

The Discovery range of Mexican ingredients seem to be expanding their distribution in the UK, with some new TV ads for how to make perfect fajitas, promotions and a contest.

While you are at their website, I'd be grateful for your vote for my fajita in their contest:  I might win a catered Mexican dinner!

Cheers all

So I went to Whiteley's mall today in Westbourne Grove (as I went to Harlem for american breakfast with the boy - don't bother. Pancakes were good , service was hideous, but that's a long story), and they have a Food Inc  place in the central atrium of the store and it had loads of american stuff.

http://www.whiteleys.com/index.php/food/food-inc-autumn

Jif Extra Crunchy Peanut butter
Skippy
Lucky Charms
Cap'n Crunch
Hersheys everything
Various salsas and BBQ sauces (hot sauce etc)
Hidden Valley Ranch
Tim Tams (that may be an Australian thing)
Pepperidge Farm stuff
A1 Steak Sauce
Goobers
Welch's grape jelly
A&W root beer
Semi Sweet toll house chocolate Chips - I know these have been hard to find in the UK :)
Various Betty Crocker Cake Mixes

Also if you're desperate for stuff, then go to Amsterdam, they had the BEST American store ever - they had EVERYTHING. Including Masa Harina, ridiculous amounts of candy and cereals and a whole wall of Betty crocker stuff,  packes of ranch and kool aid and pretty much everything I've ever heard people mention here ever :)

- Loads of Cereals
- Every
