Not sure if this has been posted anywhere else, but if you live in the Ashton area of Manchester, American Soda has a warehouse that you can go into and staff there that will help if there is anything you want to buy.
The hours that they are open:
10 to 5 Monday - Friday
10 to 4 Saturday

The address is:
Alexandria Court,
Alexandria Drive,
Off Lord Sheldon Way,
Ashton Under Lyne,
Lancashire OL7 0QN

The actual shop should be opening sometime next month!!

Thanks for the info Debby, unfortunately it's nearly impossible for me to get to it on public transport, I'll just have to be patient till DH gets his license!  I'm assuming the shop will be at same location as warehouse?  Too bad it's not central Manchester!  I'd have hubby in there every week for things lol.

Came into this thread to say, in case there are more awful sugar addicts like me, that I found a site for those Halloween Mellowcreme Pumpkins that is really cheap, I thought, and free mainland shipping as well!! 100g for £2.35, 200g for £3.75 and my pick, 3/4 lb for £5.15!  I can't wait!  Now if only I could find some pumpkin and candy canes, I'd be totally happy! :D

Just scroll down a little to see the pumpkins: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/retrosweets2008__W0QQ_fsubZ142199015

ETA: the link lol

Seen candy canes in both Morrisons and Asda recently, with all the "seasonal" (Christmas) stuff

I am so lucky I have a friend who has access to the American airbase in Lakenheath. She brings me stuff all the time when requested and will take me shopping when asked.  Have stocked up on Ranch dressing and mac n cheese as well as Pumpkin pie mix! Also get some taco bell when i go there.. but they have opened taco bell in Lakeside now!

For the person who was asking, I have actually seen grits here-- look in Jamaican/Caribbean shops for "cornmeal porridge".  The instant ones usually have bananas or coconut milk in them, though  :-\\\\

DH & I were in Nottingham to take DD to Goose Fair and we stumbled across this wonderful shop in Victoria Centre called 'Sweets from Heaven' they had York Peppermint Patties, Nerds, Gobstoppers, Peanut Butter Twix, proper Skittles (the ones with grape!), Lucky Charms, Fruit Loops, Jelly Belly's, A&W (diet & regular), Mt Dew & Code Red, you get the picture.

It wasn't cheap by anymeans, the Lucky Charms were £8.99  :o ... we picked up 2 York's & a PB Twix for £2.75!

Interesting thing though, on the way home we stopped at Morrison's and they had Reese's Nutrageous - MADE IN THE US! - for 59p! Nom NOM NOM!!!  ;D
