Goodness, sounds like we need a Bristol meetup! That's usually where I do my more intense shopping and where I go for films. I know Cribbs Causeway isn't the best of inspirational settings, but I do know how to get there on my own! (I get lost very easily.) Anyone interested?

I can get to Bristol!  Someday I mean.  My gosh I never thought I'd really meet any of you.  Without making a weekend of it.  London is 3 hours by car or train away.  LisaE keep me in mind for someday - please?

Will definitely do! You'd be a relatively easy train ride for me.

Yeah! I could make Bristol too! In the month of December, I made that journey more times than I care to remember  :-/
Easy 45 minutes for me!

Hmmm...shall we start talking dates for a Cribbs Causeway meet-up? Say a film and lunch, a little bit of shopping? Although I would personally prefer a weekday because there would be fewer people to contend with, a weekend might be the only convenient time...however, the next weekday I could do it would probably be Friday, 27 February, and weekends are pretty clear right now. Once we get a date set (if there's interest...even two people meeting up would be fine), we can then move the topic over to "Meetings and Events".

The first week of March is actually pretty good for me. Wednesday, the 3rd looks promising. This isn't half term for the schools or anything, is it?

Half term is going on now - so the first week in March should be groovy!

Shoot! Still too early for me.  But I'll be there in spirit for now.  Perhaps my time to meet will be Leah's idea of a picnic in the spring.  Crossing fingers.

Hi JandP and Bristol babe--

I am arriving in Bristol next Tuesday March 2nd for some length of time. We are moving back to England after trying our luck over here in the US. Hubby is originally from Bristol and we will be staying with his parents for a few weeks while we get back on our feet  :o

His parents also live near the downs Bristol babe--Sneyd Park area. If you need a walking buddy at all, I'll be there--hubby tells me it's a great place to walk.

If a meeting is planned, I would love to come along. I have been to Cribbs before--cool mall, TGIF's, etc. Please do let me know if anything is planned. :)

Jenny

Jenny, see the thread in the Meetings section. Yes, we're planning a March 3 meet-up at Cribbs. We're just trying to decide a time.
