Shortest since we first met was about 3.5 months, longest was 8 months.  :\\\'(

Trying my hardest to get there in the next month.. and praying things will work out.

We were only in an LDR for 6 months the first time, 4 months the next time and after that we swore never again.

we visited twice in the 6 months and none in the 4 months.

*sighs*
nearly at the half way mark of 2 months/6 days span...

5 weeks to go!!
I miss my baby.
*sighs again*

It's strange the ups and downs one goes through. Im not saying that I havent had positive days, I just know that my days would be more complete, if we were by one another's sides.
Things will change soon though.
I'm looking forward to the transitions.

Usually about two months. This one (our last) will be one day shy of 3 months by the time I see him on December 2nd. Our longest was also around 3 months. When we get to see each other, it's usually for about 8 days.

Once I move there, I'm not letting him out of my sight! [;D]

We keep in regular contact, though. Lots of marathon IM voice chats, and brief little exchanges via cell phone 2-3 times a day. It helps a lot. <3
It's so green!

Right now I'm in Baghdad and the wife is in London.   I travel a lot for work, usually a month each stint. But the longest we've been apart was 3 months.

By comparison, my wife's sister and husband have been married 15 years and they had NEVER been apart for more than 3 DAYS STRAIGHT until last year when she came to visit us  alone for 5 days. They were both freaking out and talking on the phone for hours each night.  My wife and I are so used to separation that we found it so odd!

Absence makes the heart grow fonder!

I think distance and time do strengthen the relationship a bit...ya know? and that you can deal with that sort of space, if need be.

At this pt in the wait, im getting a bit depressed, but maybe thats the season and other things that are going on in my life at the moment.

19 days to go!

We decided that we should make a point of seeing each other for at least 2 weeks every three months.  Luckily, he gets much more holiday time than I do, so that makes it possible.

He left here in November and I will see him again in February (teeny bit over three months by the time I go, but, I had to earn more vacation time at work).  Not sure if we can do the three months after that because he will be going into the Army so I am not sure when he can get leave.  But, we will pull through.  :)

13 weeks was the longest time apart, and 3 weeks between visits was the shortest. I don't wish a LDR on anyone, but it's worth it for us!!

3-4 months, we used to talk to each other daily on aim using webcams though.   [smiley=love.gif]  A lot cheaper than phone calls.
