I can't believe it's almost September.  You all have to be SOOOOO excited!!!

zuesy - single digits!  NICE!!!!!

Carrie - So nice of your hubby to unpack the boxes.  That was really sweet of him and now you'll be walking into a home when you get there.

I'm going to miss you when you go.... :\\\'(  ;)

I may be pushing my countdown, yet again..... :(

Mekaw - Have your BF's travel plans changed again?  Is he still coming Labor Day weekend?  I hope so.

Starlightprism - Welcome a year early!  Time moves so slowly at first, and then before you know it you'll be wondering why you can't have a few extra days to just wrap things up.

Don't know yet.  I asked yesterday and there is a slight chance he won't be able to come over.  It's all due to his job and things that are going on there.  I'm trying to be really understanding, but it's so very frustrating.  Especially since I was supposed to be over there now and we cancelled my trip because of his work.  I'm trying to keep my hopes up, but since so many visits have fallen through all summer it's hard.

I am sorry that I didn't see this thread sooner too. I am counting down to September too... We fly out of Boston on September 12th, and arrive in London on the 13th! Only 18 days until we fly! We settle on the sale of our house in only 13 days, the movers come in only 11 days! I also have my younger son's 1st birthday on September 8th (same day we settle), and our 5th wedding anniversary on the 22nd (just happy that we will actually have family around to babysit so that we can celebrate properly!) I can't believe that it is actually happening.... I only got sad yesterday about giving some things away (have tried selling some things but ended up using freecycle for a lot of it!)
I am so excited! can't wait! ;D

MrsKreme - What are the circumstances of your move?  Work, ancestry, just decided to try it over there for a while?  I'm just being nosey.  (We are moving for the "just decided" reason and have been married just over 4 years.  It's fun being able to get ILE.)

Kristen - I hope you get your box situation straightened out.  When is the dress supposed to arrive?

Alright.  People start leaving on Friday!  :o Or maybe not until Saturday - I know Zeusy leaves on Saturday.  Is anyone else alternating between exhaustion, extreme excitement, and fear?  With a general low level anxiousness filling in the gaps?  And I still have 24 days left.  This is the last weekend I'll be alone before I leave - family next weekend, a final roadtrip to MI the weekend after, and then my parents are coming back to get ready for the big day!  I bought some fancy bra and panty sets today so that I look pretty for my big reunion (well, they're from Target, so not that fancy).  I can't believe I'm going to see my husband soon, after almost 6 months!!!!!  We're moving!!!!  Soon!!!!

I feel so out of it, Carrie- I wanna get back into the moving loop!  But it looks like I'm down for the count for the next few days with this surgery business (in loads of pain right now and feeling rather sorry for myself, I'm afraid.) I do not even feel close to being ready to move on the 7th, and I'm trying not to panic :(

But I'm really glad you're excited and get to be with your husband soon! Yay! :D

That is a lot going on in Sept for you! Happy anniversry on the 22nd!

I am finally counting down days too. We fly into London on the 8th and will start looking at places we want to live. We would like to stay close to the in-laws in Holbeach, but work might have us living else where. We will see.

Andrea.  I completely forgot about your tooth surgery, I'm sorry.  I hope that you start feeling better soon.  You seem like a good planner though, so I'm sure that you'll be more than ready to leave when the time comes.

Jennifer - Are you moving on the 8th?  Or is it just a short house hunting expedition?

It's good to hear how everyone is doing.  I haven't been around a lot because I am tying up all my loose ends.  I am getting very excited for SATURDAY....yay yay yay!!!  I will get to be with Roy once again, everytime I think about it I burst into happy tears HAPPY TEARS!!  My mother on the other hand never bursts into tears she just constantly cries, it weighs on me, but I must go and be happy (besides she will see me in a month for the wedding and then 6 months after that for Dillinger's homecoming).

We are getting there everyone!  WE ARE GETTING THERE!!!

One week from tomorrow the movers will be coming (the 6th)! We have so much still to do it seems, but not really. I am just nervous that everything goes ok with the house sale/settlement because we settle on the 8th and fly on the 12th, so there isn't much wiggle room! Oh my goodness.... we fly in just 2 weeks! I can't beleive it!

To answer your question Carrie... We are mainly moving to be near my husband's family. My family situation has changed in the past couple years (parents separating, sister moving to another state etc...) so we wanted to be near a more stable family life, and have more free babysitting! I mean, I have never lived outside of Baltimore, so who knows.... I may get there and hate it and want to move back in 5 years! We kinda just decided. I am excited for the change! Hopefully it will be really easy for us if we ever did move back to the US because my hubby and both children have dual citizenship, and I hope to get it after living there for 3 years, so who knows! Don't really want to go through all this packing and all again though! I am so tired of the site of boxes! We will get there, like I said, one week from tomorrow and the movers come! HOORAY!

9 weeks exactly for me...oh my.

I don't even feel close to ready.  Stuff came up with that job Ste conditionally accepted in London (ie: the contract was crap so his dad talked him into not taking it)...so now that whole thing is up in the air again.  Don't know where we'll be.  There are a bunch of jobs he's waiting on to get back to him.  It makes me nervous...being this close to when I'm applying for the visa and having the whole switching jobs thing happen. Bleugh.  I'm sure it'll be fine, though.  He and I both have savings.  Well, if all else fails, I booked a return ticket because it was cheaper, anyway.  So that could get us some extra time to get all the visa stuff sorted out if need be (and then I could just get his half of the paperwork from him in person instead of relying on mail).  We shall see what happens!

3 days for zeusy!  I'm so excited for you!   ;D

mrskreme- I can sympathize, I slept on the floor last night, because my bed is gone, and I am literally living out of my car today.  I am staying at a friends tonight, but I have spent the last 4 days without a tv so I don't have a clue whats going on.

Candice-Girl that 9 weeks will fly by believe me.

Carrie-You are right behind me, congrats on the fancy underpants (he he, and he finally put the bed together, you suggestion worked)

As for me I am ready to go, I am completly out of my apartment and am handing the keys back today at 1pm, I am sleeping over at my friends house tonight and tomorrow, then I am going home to my Mom's then it is off to the airport to fly alone, so utterly alone (something as you can tell I am not looking forward too).  Thanks everyone.

Kristen - 3 days!  That's crazy.  You were over 100 when you started this thread.  In some ways it seems like it's been ages, and in others the time just flew by.  Congrats on the bed, you can nap now when you are ready after you arrive, instead of having to do assembly work.  Boys are easy. 1 month until your wedding too!  Yay!  (And since mekaw did it, I'm going to as well - ((((((Kristen))))))  ;)

Rachael - I hope your closing goes through as expected.  Are you going to be living right in London?

Candice - Sorry to hear about Ste's job contract falling through.  In the end it's probably better to hold out for a decent contract than to get tied to a bad one.  I'm sure he'll find something.  We waited 17 weeks for Gavin to get a job, but in the end one came through for him.  Just waiting and worrying is tough though.  9 weeks is nothing.  You're almost down below the 2 month mark!

Did everyone see that Andrea. got a scholarship?  Good work Andrea.  Hope you're feeling better.
