for me...UGH, I almost hate to post this.  Robert, not coming on Friday.  :\\\'(  Not a big surprise - I knew this was going to happen.  I'm not going to complain or whine, just going to say it ROYALLY SUCKS! Now it's 5 months since we've seen each other, which I know is not long...which is why I'm not going to complain.  We went from seeing each other every 6 weeks and I was spoiled, I know!

SOOOO brightside, counting down to September 7th - I go to Seattle for the first time.  It's for work, but I'm excited go.  Should be flying back east on the 11th, but then thought, nope not flying on Sept. 11th.  So I'm going to stay an extra day and explore.

Yay for September 7th, though- that's moving day for me!  Thanks for the scholarship congrats Carrie and mekaw and yes, I'm on solid foods now although my chewing pattern has changed (I open my mouth just a little and try to chew at the front of my mouth and on the side that hurts the least.  It's a bit of an art form, I tell you!)

Today is my "get back in the game" day- I've spent the last week basically neglecting my life so I'm going to do some cleaning, run some errands and make an official, final moving to-do list!  I can't believe I'm leaving in a week.  Craziness.

I'm counting down until the 3rd September cuz I'm gonna be moving to Portsmouth where everyone is lovely...for the most part, haha.

poop.  Mekaw, that does suck.  But I hope that you have a fantastic time (when you are't working) in Seattle.  Treat yourself good.

Well, Carrie, you were right.  He's just been offered another job, and it's much much better.  He's having trouble deciding between that one and another one (which is basically his dream job).  The latter have just offered him a third interview, and the former have offered him a job with a big bonus.  He needs to make a decision by tomorrow...so we'll see what happens!

IIRC, today's moving day for Aless!  Bon voyage Megan and hope you make it to London tomorrow safely and not too stressed out! And then Zeusy on Saturday! People are actually leaving, I can't believe it.

Candice- yay for the new job! Sounds like a great opportunity for him.

To answer your question Carrie, No, we will be living right outside of London in Surrey (New Haw). We will stay with my inlaws to start until we can get a place of our own... don't know where that will be right now... probably in Kent somewhere.
only 8 days till closing on the house... the buyers come tomorrow to check the repairs that were done and quite a few people coming in the next 4 days to get some of our stuff we are giving away.. there are no couches in my basement anymore! We have to watch TV sitting on the floor... reminds me of 5 years ago when we moved in!
Busy making calls too to cancel everything. Just closed our local bank account... switched to HSBC so we could have the UK account too. Guess that is about it for now!

I can't either.  Doesn't seem like that long ago that we were all at 100+ days!
