So in addition to a countdown thread, can this be our general September-Movers Support Thread?

I'm having a crappy week, not that anything bad has actually happened (other than our first fight since he left).  I think it is just PMS, but I've been so tired all week.  Don't want to get out of bed in the morning.  Feel like napping all evening.  Haven't felt like cooking.  Haven't been keeping up my cleaning or exercise regimens.  :-\\\\ On the upside, once I get to work I have actually been accomplishing things this week.   :P

But my worst time is between 7pm and bedtime.  What do you guys do in the evenings?  I think (know :-[ ) sitting in front of the tv and computer at the same time is sucking my energy away.  Maybe just getting away to see my family this weekend will help.  Hmmmph.  Any ideas?

Ooh, I wish I had a date to count down to but I'm paranoid to start thinking about anything until I have my student loans sorted (hopefully in the next few weeks!)  Term starts on the 18th and orientation is the week before...but I might get there a few weeks early and stay with friends until I can move into my flat.  So I'd be leaving anytime between September 3rd - September 12th :) I just came back from a visit to my uni too and loved it- so excited!

I have a squillion little projects going at the moment.  Mostly sewing stuff.  It keeps me occupied.  I also like taking walks in the evening right as the sun is setting.  :)  I searched a long time for a hobby that I could get into that wasn't computer or TV related, though.  ;)  Do you have any arts and crafts type stuff you like to do?

I think getting away to see your family might help a bit.  It always helps me to recharge when I just get out of this place for a few days and see new people.  :)

Yay Zeusy! Keep on hanging in there- it's already been 3 months since we first met on Uk Yankee, time will fly on by. I can't wait until August for my wedding, Sept for my honeymoon and October when I can start working again! Lots to look forward to- gotta keep my chin up as well and bring my man out of his depression- do you think it's the weather?

Cam.

Its been so long...Welcome back. I was gonna suggest that you come back here and get some encouragment.   I totally think it would be the weather with him....or it is that time of the month for him.. He He!  Chin up my friend, I shall be over on 3 months and we can call each other and cheer each other up...  Your wedding in Aug, mine in Sept, then we can both start working in Oct!!!  YIPPY!!!

Carrie,
I am totally about making this a support for us September people...and those along the way and of course those leaving in October.

I work in the evenings and then I come home eat, check the computer, take the dog out and basically go to bed.  But I have a boring data entry job at night that allows me ample time to freak out...So yeah I have done my fair share of worrying.

I also have a "squillon" (I love that by the way) little things I am working on.  Mostly as a sales woman for KRISTEN'S HOUSE Of BARGAINS!!!!!  Everything MUST GO!!!! (he he)

So everyone our next milestone is coming up this weekend....and tomorrow (Thanks Carrie) is my 100th day!!!

Oh gah, I just have to slight hijack for a moment -- do you notice how your mind wanders when you are doing data entry, and you just get flooded with memories when typing in certain chains of numbers/words? It drives me nuts sometimes -- almost like daydreaming! Definitely not the best job to do when you have a lot on your mind...  :-X

Since I'm being such a diligent employee today (  ;D ) I decided to make a list of everyone counting down with us.  I also vote that we start a new one of these threads each month, that would give us one more thing to count down by.

Chara - August 16th - Moving, September 27th - Wedding
cam1814 - August - Wedding, September - Honeymoon, October - Working
Aless - September 1st - Starting postgrad programme
Zeusy99 - September 2nd - Moving to Ipswich, September 30th - Wedding
Amarylis - September 3rd-12th - Starting postgrad programme
Tristatek - September 4th - Moving
Quater-Gill - September 8th - Visiting friends in London
OnMyWay_2_UK - September 12th - Moving to Bath
Carrie - September 19th - Moving to Wales
EnglandsYank - September 23rd - 1 year anniversary
Candice - October 31st - Moving

Let me know if I missed anyone.
