Marlepso, in your condition shouldn't you be eating lobster with marmalade, or coal, or rhubarb with mustard*, or something like that?  ;) [smiley=laugh.gif]  Or do strange appetites happen only earlier in pregnancy?

*or pizza with a knife and fork, or - heaven help us - Marmite!!!!

They say though that you crave what you need.  I craved things like popsicles and spinach (ok, cold tinned spinach) and mince pies-which all have their benifits-liquid, iron and potassium.  The only strange thing I ever craved was during my third pregnancy when I used to wake up craving a cigarette  :o and I've never smoked in my life.

Well I'm not necessarily craving the things I need, my *BIGGEST* craving this whole time has been for a gigantic mammother sized Baileys on the Rocks!!!

All I could consume (while pregnant) was salads, ginger ale and Orville Redenbacher's Nacho Cheese Flavored Popcorn. From the time he could reach up on his own, my son has always favored salad bars...he got the funniest look the other week when he ordered a Caesars Salad at a resturant...as his main course.

Sadly, they don't make Orville Redenbacher's Nacho Cheese Flavored Popcorn anymore.

I'm going to have to try the Wotsits for sure!

hey LisaE!!!

i miss their nacho cheese flavour too.

i used to but a dried nacho cheese powder from some spice people that used to set up a table at a local farmer's market.  (you can probably also get it wherever good spices and herbs are sold.)

anyway, i'd make the plain Reddenbacher popcorn.  when it was done, i'd sprinkle some of the cheese into the bag with it and give it a good shake.  (works a lil better if u drizzle some real butter into it 1st...  sticks better)

anyway, it tastes pretty good!!!  you should try that!

Hmmm...VERY interesting suggestion! I hadn't thought about adding butter first, makes sense!
