Okay, so I finally gave in.......

I finally decided that if I have not worn something within the last year, its going to Goodwill.  I wanted to take ALL my clothes (I have a LOT), but I've realized that is not possible.  All of my bags weigh 70lbs, or close to it, so I'm off to widdle it down

I'm such a hoarder, this is so hard for me. 

I hear you. I just found 8 garbage bags worth of clothing to get rid of. Yet, I look in my closet and its still full. I keep asking myself, do I really want to pay the money to ship this item of clothing. Its helped me narrow it down.

I thought I would try to make money off some of my nicer clothing and have tried two consignment stores. Never again! Do you know how embarrassing it is to have all of your clothing rejected? Apparently most places want items that have been in the store in the past year. None of mine qualifies, its mostly stuff from say the 90's or from 4 years ago.

See, I should have read this thread before I read your shopping extravaganza thread!  Maybe you didn't really need all those new clothes after all.   

I've just managed to get most of my items shipped to England, and have done a pre-pack to make sure everything else will be able to fit in my bags I'm taking with me when I get this call from my mother.  "Don't forget, we have a few pairs of jeans and some shirts for you,"  and then lists a few other items.  While it was very sweet for my mother to buy me some things I need, I'm really not sure where to put them!  Aack!  I told df this is my last international move ever, so he can't send me back.  He just laughed and said well, he wasn't planning on it anyway.   

That Pre-pack idea is a good one, so you know what will really fit.  I'm going to try that.
