Clearance Visa timing questions...
« on: June 01, 2006, 05:03:45 AM »
I will be sending my application for the clearance Visa next Monday.

I read that the date stamped in my visa is the date I am traveling to UK. Is this true? Do I need to have a deffinite date for travel before applying?

My concern is that since I am applying via postal service it says that the visa takes 2-3 days to get issued and up to 10 working days depending on the postal service. However I read in other thread that it only took 3 days!!  What is your experience in this?

Two weeks with family reduced to one? Does this mean that I can be in UK by mid June??

Put an ideal date for travelling.  The visa, when issued, won't be valid before this date.
