Hi from Boston
« on: January 12, 2004, 06:40:21 PM »
Hello all!  I have been reading for a while and finally decided to post.  I currently live in Boston and am looking to relocate to the UK (London) to be with my boyfriend of 2 1/2 years.  I am exploring several options and would appreciate any advice, especially from those who have experience with the Highly Skilled Migrant Program.

Thanks in advance!

Hiya Jess and welcome to UK Yankee.  I too am from Boston.  I'm moving over to Wales in April.  Sorry I don't know anything about the Highly Skilled Migrant Program.  But I'm sure someone here will.  Best of luck with your move.  I am on 3 years of long distance dating.  So I know how it can be.  Write back soon and let us know how your doing.  You will find loads of info here on your move.

Hi Jess! Welcome to UKY!  As you will see we have quite a few Bostonians around!  I myself also must plead ignorance on the Visa front but I advise you to post the question in the Visa section so that someone  might be abe to help out.

I am with Kiz(WB!!!) in that I know how crazy the long distance thing is!

Hope to see more posts!

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

It's comforting to know that there are others who have been/ are in the same long distance situation I am.
