Big Love
« on: June 13, 2006, 08:49:27 AM »
Is anyone watching this?  The first two episodes aired here last night.  What do you think of it so far?

I thought it was a bit on the slow side.  Certainly doesn't come close to other HBO series I've watched and enjoyed (Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Oz).  Not sure if I'll continue to give it a shot.  However, the dynamics between the three wives is interesting.  I'm in the air with this one!

I watched some of Big Love.  I am hoping they replay the episodes as I was unable to watch it all.

I was  only able to see the last part of the second one.. am also waiting to see if they repeat them.. I am  intrigued if anything else.  and yes.. definitely the  relationship between the wives  is the most interesting bit.. a bit hard to wrap my head  around  (relationshipwise and the kids..ans how does that all work?)  but I'm intrigued nonetheless. yes  will give it  a  shot.. I don't have sky  so  any good  soaps will do for me..

My sister was watching in Canada and she loves it.  I'm thinking it is kind of like Weed in that a really good show, good characters, good writing, but I just can't get my head around the concept.  I guess I'm just an old fart!

If you do eventually see the first two episodes re-aired, it'll all start to make sense how they got together and how the day to day things work.  Interesting for sure!

I've watched the first four episodes and I'm really liking it. It's definitely different.

I watched all but the last episode of the first season in America.  I really enjoyed it.  It definitely doesn't 'romanticise' polygamy and the characters are good.  I'm looking forward to finally seeing the last episode!

man...i realized that it was on right when it was ending!!  i wanted to check it out...not because i thought it was going to be a stellar show, but because i was just curious.  i'll have to be on the lookout for re-runs.

I saw all of Big Love in America, and I really enjoyed it.  I watched the first few episodes last night with df and I can see how it can be seen as slow.  It's definitely a lot about relationship dynamics.

I really liked this as well.  It was a very original idea and I thought the writing was really clever.
Keep watching.  The dynamics of the family get interesting and very funny.

Really liking it so far. (I watched the first episode and part of the second)  I love that fact that three actors who were/are on my favourite show Veronica Mars are on Big Love. (Yeah, I don't know why, I just do)

I watched it and enjoyed it. I'll be watching it again. It's interesting to watch how the sister wives have to interact.

I like watching the different personalities unfold, and how they interact together.
