yeah cali makes our commuting lifestyle that we had not doable sadly.  i was doing boston-london and it was MUCH easier

hang in there kid.

and paid vakay isn't that bad when it's part of the package.  here i feel like i rob the company with 25 paid days off a year!
haha just a tad! My mom and family have talked about moving to the east coast but I doubt they'd ever leave california. Everytime it's brought up I always say "IT'S A PLUS THAT WHEN WE GET MARRIED YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TO FLY VERY LONG!" lol even adam thinks it's a great idea as when he comes to visit it wouldn't be a long flight.

Omg I'd love to have 25 days off a year...paid or unpaid!

I am sorry you are feeling sad  :-[ Hang in there, I know how hard it is to be so far away and taking days off is not easy at all specially when you need the money...and you need the money to go  :) I am in Scottsdale AZ and know how far the journey is to take 4 days off...I also just found out that Simon is not coming over this year and so I will have to wait till March and it makes me very sad and I was thinking about going over for Xmas...but I am not sure they will give me time off at work neither :(
It is a rollercoaster of emotions but if we keep positive, things will be better.

Hang in there, time will fly by and cheer up.....

I'm sorry about your situation also. I know how it feels...it's hard. We'll get through it! He's coming in March to see you? Adam will come in May!...we'll count down together  :P

I'm suprised how fast this month has gone since I've been home...hopefully the rest of the year goes by like this.

You hang in there also!

Best of luck to you both with the waiting.....I feel guilty that I was upset I wouldn't see my fiance for three and a half months after I visit him at the end of August! I'm very lucky in that we've been dating for over two years and we have somehow managed to see each other every two and a half months or so. He was a student for some of the time, so he spent a couple summers with me. Time really does fly and staying busy helps. It's hard when friends don't understand the situation, but they can at least be a good distraction.

I agree that webcams do almost make the situation worse. So close, yet so, so far away! I wish some genius out there would invent a way for us to reach into computers! Hang in there and remember, the waiting is so worth it in the end. I know I will never take my fiance for granted because of this experience.
Wed at last on April 20th!
