I had a long lie in this morning then I got up and was actually productive.   I got both bathrooms sparkling, scrubbed the kitchen, vacumed, did the never ending laundry and even got rid of all the cob webs.

Wow! I was going to post my happiness, but now it has transformed into guilt!   ;)  Is there "Guilt is" thread on here?

My happiness today is primarily slob-based:  reading the paper, drinking coffee, sitting with my back against the radiator, listening to music...   :)

Personally, that would make me a lot happier than doing housework! :)

Maybe zeusy could come & have her kind of happiness at my house too?! ;)

Then we'd all be happy! ;D

Coming home to a very belated birthday cake, homemade by DF! And...it's coconut cake, my favorite!

Watching the Wizard of Oz with my kids.  It was something I did as a kid every year and I would love to continue the tradition.

Ha Ha I was just happy that I finally had the energy and gumption to get off my lazy rear end and get it all done.  The best part was hubby said "everything is gleaming I am afraid to touch anything"

I put our big (feather) winter duvet on the bed yesterday!  Bliss!  (as if we needed any more reasons to stay in bed... ;))

Spending the afternoon curled up on the sofa with a hot water bottle and a cat, watching a Merchant-Ivory film and nibbling on Stilton and biscuits.

Oh man do I ever love that big poofy winter duvet on my bed!  Sorry to repeat myself but I reeeeealllly like being in that bed now, even more than ever.

Poofy - not in the British sense ;) -- but it's big & feathery (inside) & all snuggly & squishy if you know what I mean?
