A washer/dryer finally! No more underwear hanging all around the flat.
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

Finally having a really good, reliable builder & it wasn't really any work at all to find him!  He's around 60 (a guess) & he's done work for my neighbor two doors down for years & years.  Her son inherited the house right next door (in between us & said neighbor) from their cousin, and so our builder is the same guy who has been gutting the house next door for a few months now.  In the course of all that & in speaking with the neighbors, we decided to hire him too!  He lives right here in town, he's good, he's honest & he's fair (pricing).  How great is that?! :D

Another lovely get together with a UKY friend and catching up over pizza, salad and cake.  We try to make it a monthly thing.  ;D

My daughter getting back into sports after a few years.  She has been caught a couple of times drinking with friends so I'm relieved that she and her friends have made the school softball team.

A buttery lemon-cranberry scone and a quiet cup of tea with Ross
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

The Odeon at Basingstoke.
Our oldest turns 7 on Tuesday and wanted to go to the movies with two of her friends. Both   her and her friends have special needs.  All of the staff at the Odeon were wonderful-from the manager on down.  The children (along with the Mums and Dads) had a great time!
