Having a really nice guy for a husband - mentally stable & everything!  Ok - maybe a bit geeky & sometimes quirky but that's really the extent of it.  He's my anchoring rock. :)

Dude, me too!   ;D

Dude, me three!  ;D  I'm glad Dh is a bit geeky & has a quirky side I think that is what makes  Dh so special to me.  [smiley=love.gif]  I know without the love & support of Dh when I first moved here to the UK I wouldn't have made it an probably would have went back to the States.  [smiley=hug.gif]  [smiley=smitten.gif]

Getting my interview invitation (for my British passport) in yesterday's post.  I rang them today & my interview is scheduled for Monday at 1:45 pm!  I should then have my beautiful maroon British passport within 5 working days after my interview - which means I may also be all sorted (shiny new British passport in hand) before my approaching trip to the US.  What a relief! ;D

And then - I can give the two finger salute to & kiss the backside of UK immigration paperwork GOOD-BYE! :-*

(Oh and I plan to do some local volunteering work now going forward -- after my life settles down just a little bit...but not because I was forced to do it before I could have my citizenship. :P)

Great stuff - Here's to you Mrs Robinson!

Does that mean that you enter the US with your American passport and here with your UK passport?

And which do you use when leaving each country?

Getting on top of our finances and finding out we have more money than I thought - and paying off some overdue credit card bills - Happiness is a zero balance on the credit cards!

Mrs. Robinson, my boyfriend uses his UK when leaving the US and arriving in the UK and his US when leaving the UK and arriving in the US.

Congrats, Mrs. Pink and Pebbles!

This is a cute little license plate decoration I saw yesterday "Happiness is....being Norwegian."
