I just asked DB to go visit his father so I can get some Hardee's. Too bad if it was his mother's side of the family he'd be the one asking to go and I'd want to think of reasons not to! 

Hmmm...Florida...I really need to take advantage of my parents' condo sometime in the winter!

- FINALLY having a breakfast room - and a place to sit besides my desk in this house!

My happiness is that Thursdays are my Friday and I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend with a bit of cash to spend.

The sun coming out so the girls could play outside after school.  They were doing my head in!

Thinking it was Friday night - only it's not, which is ok because my work week ends on Thursday so it's virtual Friday night + I get tomorrow night too!  Two Friday nights!  One to chill out & one going out to the pub with our friends.

being asked for my ID while trying to buy a bottle of wine last night.  I'm 40! and the cashier was barely over 21 herself.   It was a nice ego boost.

Sitting quietly listening to the birds out back while I read the news and enjoy a fat mug of Peet's Major Dickason.

Oh and I get to hit up House of Fraser later for some much needed retail therapy! 

Getting back into a pair of trousers that I haven't been able to wear for a while.  They are still snug, but at least I can zip them up and still breathe!

Going on a nice long run in this beautiful weather... to justify the curry takeaway we're ordering tonight!
