It's just been a good start to the week..hopefully it'll stay that way.

Got my hair cut (six inches gone!)

Might be getting a bike (finally) tomorrow since I had to return the Woolworths one 'cause it tried to kill me...twice.

Managed to return the giant massive Russell Hobbs mini kitchen for full value without documentation.

The mean man at work is GONE. He quit. I may have mentioned this before here. But it still makes me happy.

A delicious, super cool salad with...
Quinoa, lettuce, scallion, cherry tomato, basil, sweet corn, mushrooms, and a bit of John West's canned crab. Yum yum yum.

And my project's going well.

The baby swans are here!  Every spring I get the pleasure of seeing mommy & daddy swan raise their babies.  They are only 2 days old, 8 of them this year!  Really really cute watching them and listening to their little chirps.  Daddy swan is very protective and will bark and bite at you if you get anywhere near them!

Seeing them on my walk to Sainsburys made my day!  :D

I got to vote today for the first time ever as a British citizen! ;D

And I was flabbergasted that it was all so simple - only our local representative for Leeds city council.  I'm so used to having the mega-ballot in the US - for local, state, federal, this referendum, that proposition, the dogcatcher...hanging chads... :P
Ring the bells that still can ring

That's how the light gets in...

After some perseverance and hunting, I've got my brand new shiny absolutely gorgeous Panasonic SD255 Bread Maker! Woohoo!

A fitting conclusion to the Russell Hobbs mini kitchen saga. Phew! Thank you Argos!
