Tall scaffolding, and the men who put it up. [smiley=smitten.gif]

Now pass the cheese...
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

That's awesome, Dawn!  At this moment, I'm stressing over my Algebra test tomorrow, trying to remember the freakin formula for a parabola and why the f*ck I even need to know this!  :P

Oh yeah, happiness is getting news from Dave that his divorce finally went through.  Hopefully that's one less stress for him to deal with.

I hate, hate Algebra. I'm sure you did well.  :)

Watching Pride and Prejudice on TV for the 800th time
Baking bread this afternoon
A lil afternoon delight with my husband!  ;D
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

Getting ALL of my shoes cleaned and polished, the outdoorsy ones sprayed with waterproofing, new laces, heels repaired, etc.

Ready for Autumn!  :D

Having a holiday on the central California coast.
We drove down highway 1 from Monterey to Cambria and it was lovely. The temperature was around the 70's and there was overcast in the early hours. I felt that I was back in England and I loved it.
I've never seen so many motorcycles on the highway. I don't know if that is a new thing or because there was a race on in Monterey.
The hotels, food and everything was great. Now I want to go back and stay longer.

My Best Friend lives in Morgan Hill,California whenever I visit her we always go to Monterey. when Dh first went to California we took him to Monterey he loves it as well I know he likes it more than me its because there is a racetrack there he is really into his races. The track is Laguna Seca & DH told me that it was the Moto GP World Bike Grand Prix there at the weekend which would explain all the bikes on the road.

A smiling baby, even though he, and everyone else in the house, have colds.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
