Oh I LOVE the pound shop!

Me too!!! There's one in Hayle called "Posh Pound" that I'm going to have to investigate! Somehow I think the name might be a bit misleading, but you never know. A £ is a £!

a lazy weekend of catching up with Sex and The City.  I'm a SATC late bloomer.

tea tree oil.  My new obsession. It just smells so clean.  I want to douse everything and everyone in my house with it!

I like the pound shop too!  We have both Poundland (everything £1) and also Poundstretcher (more like Woolies, or Wilkies I think), plus Woolies and Wilkies -- all either in the same building as, or across the street from where I work.  I learned to be careful at Poundland too because I've bought some things there for a £1 & then later realised I could buy them at Morrisons for less than a £1 - not a huge deal, but I still felt foolish (mostly cos I didn't really know what things ought to cost).

Scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Being first in the clean bath!

I love that! My former roommate and I had a rule I've carried over with DB: whoever cleans the tub gets first clean shower or bath. Since I now live with DB I always get first clean shower since I'm the only one who cleans it. (sucks to clean it, but love being first in.)

DB's parents are heading back to England today! Nice enough people, it's just hard for me to have them here, kind of awkward to talk to.

We posted our hermit crab on Freecycle (LOL) and got a ton of responses.

Happiness was the hearty laugh we had over one lady's email. She said that she had 20 hermit crabs and 2 of them were over 10 years old. WTF?! That's like a freaky version of a cat lady!  :o
