Finding clips of Real Time w/Bill Maher on You Tube.  I really miss that show.

A babbling, round-cheeked, chubby 10-month-old baby girl, sitting playing w/her toys and periodically clapping with glee.

Rich's dad coming over yesterday and installing Raisin's new super fabulous doggy door!

Today the landlord is here fixing the timer for the heating/hot water system.

Tuesday my friend is flying in for a visit from San Francisco!

Yay.

The perfect bubble bath...hot, deep, spicey, w/mounds of bubbles.  Absolute heaven!!!  (Thanks to a friend who passed on a Lush voucher to me...Christmas Kisses...yummm!)  :)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

A long, hot bubble-bathy soak with some trashy chick-lit and a big plastic tumbler of wine ... while my perfect bf cooks us a roast chicken dinner. He's so wonderful that I won't even force him to watch X-Factor tonight!  :)

Hearing the dog snore in the middle of the night.
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…
