Walked up and out and wow...just stood there and saw my lovely city, the traffic, the people, the lights, the El, the Chicago Theater with its wonderful red and orange sign...it just thrilled me to no end.  I knew exactly where I was and just felt like 'I'm home.' 

Did you toss your hat Geeta?  Sounds like a perfect Mary Tyler Moore Moment!!  ;)

it is so funny you said that...because my friends who were in London over last weekend told me that I reminded them of Mary Tyler Moore in 'That Girl' !!

Geeta- sounds so wonderful.  I love Chicago!!  Live just a couple of hours south and go up there whenever i get the chance.  My seven year old feels like it's her second home, she knows her way from Union Station to every where she likes to go!!

Awesome...
I felt the same way driving into LA (ahhh, traffic!), seeing the downtown skyline and then the Hollywood sign!

My happiness is having a voice lesson with my old teacher and friend like no time had passed... including the quality of my voice (I've neglected it for awhile).

Chestnut scented candles from Habitat. 
(I'm saving the last of my Christmas Tree candles from Illuminations for Christmas!)

Oh and not having anything to do or anywhere to go for the next 3 days!
