Congratulations to your daughter Meshell!  And you too!  :)  I hope she liked the ring you helped pick out.

Snuggling on the sofa with my daughter watching one of her favorite movies (even though she has a fever) it's nice to know she loves to do this with me <3

I met my daughter at the secondary school bus on a gorgeous afternoon and we walked home together.  She wasn't embarassed to be seen with me, and was so excited about her first singing lesson that she sang her assignment with me as we walked along - "Who Will Buy?" from Oliver.

What am I to do, to keep the sky so blue, there must be someone who will buy...  :)

Realizing it is only about 8 weeks until the Christmas tree can go up.  [smiley=elf.gif] Woohoo!  [smiley=antlers.gif]

I'm one of those people who would put the tree up at the beginning of September and take it down at the end of May if I could get by with it.  ;D

Several years ago I just couldn't wait and put it up the day after Halloween, but I generally do it on Thanksgiving because that is when my family always did. I usually take it down the week after New Year's Day but one year I just couldn't part with it and left it up until Feb.  ;D I'm sure the neighbors thought I was nuts for that one.

Happiness would be if the people at our house who so gleefully put the tree up would take it down as well!
