Loving this!  ;D

Happiness is knowing that my mom's surgery yesterday went well! She has another appointment in a few weeks to re-check a few spots for left over potential cancer cells, but they are really confident they got it all! I'm optimistic!  :)

That's great!!!

Thanks guys!!

More good news! They originally said she had to be there for a week, but they were so impressed with her healing progress yesterday that they are saying so may go out today or tomorrow instead! Waiting to hear more from my dad!  :)

Great afternoon out today with BostonDiner - we went for lunch, I showed her all around my (and Andee's) town, & we stopped by Andee's shop to say hi, then back to my house for a cuppa.  Weather was damp & fairly miserable, but we had such a nice visit & a good day.  :)

And thanks to you, Mrs R for the grand tour! Now I know I can get there and back on the bus -- for more chats and visits to Andee's shop  :)

We went to dad's to visit today and take him his birthday gift. He has a new fuzzy addition to the house since we were last there, and is quite easily one of the cutest kittens I have ever seen. She is a real people kitty and loves to cuddle and play.  [smiley=smitten.gif]

Catching up on the new season Walking Dead (now caught up through episode that aired US on Sunday).

This season is sooooo much better than last - where they spent toooo much time on Hershel's farm not doing much of anything & not enough zombie action, boo.

Anyway, I am loving the new character Michonne played by Danai Gurira - she is a fabulous strong female bad*ss character for (hopefully) the good guys/gals!

Spoiler: show
Can't wait to find out more about her story - how she figured out neutralising the zombies & using them as shields etc...

Spoiler: show
Also, I can't freaking believe they killed off Lori!  :\\\'(
