watching the joy in my 6 year old's whole being  as she  attempted  sand sledding for the first time  and absolutely LOVED it!!   ;D

Being with my family for Christmas after being away the last three. As much as I miss the UK, I wouldn't miss being here this Christmas for anything in the world.  [smiley=smitten.gif]

finally understanding what my 20 month old was trying to say...(I think we were  both relieved..)  Thankfully  she can use sign language as well. phew!!  ;D

Listening to Moe (cockatiel) babble and sing. His joyous moods are contagious. Sometimes he is so goofy I can't help but joke that there is crack in his bird seed.  ;D

Aww, very considerate!  :)

Mine is more like 'Relief is....' my new crown in place without a hitch or any discomfort (as far as I can tell as I'm still numbed up).  Bye-bye temporary robot tooth, hello natural-looking permanent tooth!  Hello chewing all kinds of yummy food again as well!

Today marks 1 year since I moved back to the US. It was because of circumstances beyond my control, as some of you might remember, and I was a bit apprehensive about having to start all over again. But ultimately, I moved back with an open mind and no expectations about where I would end up or what I would be doing here.

I suppose happiness is managing to have a very positive, wonderful, adventurous first year back.  :)
