How amazing is the weather today?! Been lounging in my back garden all afternoon working on my "one-day tan" lol! Back to work tomorrow, so seizing the day today! :)

Happiness is... putting clothes up on the washing line on a warm sunny day, having a freshly mowed lawn, power washed patio, and thriving potted flowers!

Knowing I only have one more day of work before we're off to Wales for a week's holiday in a cottage on the coast.

Two free nights in a hotel next weekend, and time to catch up, face to face, with an old friend. He manages the hotel, and has comped the room for us. Although it isn't much, we are taking him out for a couple meals, as a thank you, while we are there, so we can try two of his fave places.

Having my own space again!  Having my own time, doing what I want, when I want it!  I can be a slob if I bloody well want to! I can eat in front of the tv!  I can eat a frickin stir fry and not have it be 'strange' or 'exotic'.(Yes, a stir fry.  :o)   I can fart in comfort and not have to hide in the bathroom.  I get the remote and can do what I want and not have to be 'on form'....and more than anything I can act like myself.  5 days of holidaying with J's family is enough to make me crazy.  Anyone who has to live with their inlaws has my utmost sympathy.

Thanks for the giggle! After doing the staying with the in-laws for a bit routine, I can relate to your list.  ;D

Mine: Being pampered all weekend. One of my dearest lifelong friends manages a hotel. He gave us a room for the weekend, and must have instructed his staff to cater to our every need, because they went above and beyond any service I have ever gotten, anywhere. We spent a lot of our time visiting with him or sight seeing, but when we were in the room we were in the jacuzzi watching tv and sipping wine.

My new apartment. We've been fully moved in for a week and it's such a difference. We're in the heart of everything, and it just feels like a home more than the other place did. Lost a lot of sq. footage and a dishwasher, but gained on just about every other front. Chuffed to bits!  :)
