Being off work tomorrow, with all the housework and errands taken care of yesterday.

the marmalade cat snoozing in the sun on a bench outside Christ Church in Dublin -- so relaxed he couldn't be bothered to even open an eye when stroked.  Someone had tucked a bowl of water and another of kitty crunchies plus a cat bed under a bush nearby.  Lucky cat!  [smiley=clover2.gif]

Those moments, just seeing such bliss, are enough to make a person smile for days!

Mine:
1. A message from our friend Mark asking what kind of cake we want his mum to bake for when we go have dinner with him and his girlfriend. We've had her cakes before, and no words can describe how awesomely gorgeous they are. She loves to bake, and whenever Mark and Laura have friends over, she volunteers to bake a cake.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

2. We fly Tuesday! Half day of work tomorrow, then dinner with mom and dad and a relaxing evening before an early night to get up for the airport. Yay!

NB "packy" refers to package store (not something racist)  ;)

Haha, indeed. My husband looked mortified the first time I said it!

1. We fly tomorrow!

2. Joey's tail is growing back out!  His duck butt is nearly gone and he is looking more like a cockatiel again. When he was younger and clumsy, he managed to snap his tail feathers, and finally molted the broken ones out a few weeks ago. Hard to believe he will be a year old next month.

I'll admit I cringed before scrolling down to BD's explanation. :o

Using my blinkahh, I pahhhked my cahhh at the packie, the one over on Southie, near the triple deckers.   I was wearing my new dungarees and sneakers.  I was heading off to a wicked pissah party down the Cape.  The place was very busy, all these leaf peepers about.  I picked up my case and a few butts and went into my pocketbook to pay.  Along the way to this kegga, I decided to pick up grinder for myself and a lobster roll for my boyfriend.   We decided to get a drink of water from the bubblah and finished everything off with a hoodsie cup.     ;D

Oh yeah, probably would have that spelling, rather than the one I put there.  :)
