Watching my cats play, either with each other, a toy, or the laser light they never can catch.

We went for a short walk yesterday by Ilkley in this little wood, and the whole of it was carpeted with bluebells everywhere!  It was so beautiful, amazing & magical!
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

I've been meaning to write "a warm gun," to quote a Beatles song, but thought it might be touchy of late. (On the White album, there's a song titled "Happiness Is a Warm Gun," although I believe they were speaking of a different type of gun.)

The excitement of going to America in a week for my sister's gradutation (summa cum laude) and having a whole week of just me and my family (Jon is staying home this time). I've got hair appointments booked with my sister and a facial booked with my mom and sister and my whole family is going to be there and we've got parties and shindigs and hoopla's galore booked.

I've got a week of engorging myself with family. A week of family. I'm beyond excited at this point.

I just can't wait to be able to hug my sister. It's been much too long.
There are two things in life for which we are never truly prepared:  twins.
