Finding my poor kitty, who'd somehow managed to escape during the night - he was huddled under the wheels of the neighbor's car!  I searched high and low for him for two hours, all around the neighborhood, and was in the midst of putting together a flyer when my other kitty dragged me downstairs and kept meowing at the mail slot.  Sure enough, when I went back out and called Toby's name, I heard a little meow from under the car!

Aww, how sweet! I am glad that your other kitty helped find your other.  :)

Me too!  :)

Xander's a very smart kitty - he tried very hard to wake me up this morning, licking my hands and face and standing on my back as I tried to get away from the licking (he's 16.5lbs so I couldn't really sleep through it!).  The other time that Toby went missing, Xan was the first to realise and woke me up then, too!  He just gets really anxious when he can't find his brother. :)

I am glad that they are both safe and sound and the next time that smarty Xander is giving you clues I am sure you will know!  ;) Amazing, aren't they!

Speaking of 16 lb kitties, I had the same back in the states (Simon), my sister's cat who came to live with me and I still miss him, he went back to her when I moved over.

When we go back to the states, 4 yrs on...he still knows me, thank goodness. He meows like a nut when I come through the door.  :)

My sister always says "he's not fat, just big boned". LOL! The vet says he is very healthy so that's a good thing.

A long, balmy afternoon where the words "all the time in the world" cross my mind while reading a book.  In unhurried fashion, of course  [smiley=book.gif]
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

That's what I always said about Willie! Unfortunately, it wasn't healthy for him to be that big, and now he's beautifully svelte! If only I could do the same.  :-\\\\

You know you are really in love when you can paint together and not kill each other, we have one more room to tackle and I will be happy for a little while long....then I am tackling the horse wallpaper, yes I said horse as in ponies frolicking in the grass, wallpaper that is hanging in the hallway.
