Name on VAF2 Application
« on: June 26, 2006, 01:07:14 AM »
After reading the other thread about names on visas I'm confused. On the VAF2 application should I put my maiden name on the "name of applicant" or my married name? My passport is in my maiden name so would the visa automatically be put in as that?

It should say something along the lines of 'Name of Applicant as it appears on passport' or some such stuff. On the application I put my previous married name, as that's what my passport says. But at the end when it asks for your signature, I signed my new married name. ;)

Forgot to add: Gathering from everything that I've read, the visa will be put in the name that your passport is in.

Ok good, I changed the name on the application then. In the letters and paperwork I'm putting "First Name then Married Name then (nee maiden name)"

Now I'm wondering if I should have even bothered changing everything here to my married name lol.
