She did an awesome peach cobler on Saturday Kitchen a while ago.  It seriously has about 2 blocks of butter, but it was worth it.
Here it is on BBC Food

Splendid lovely new boyfriend managed to get a table at about two weeks notice, but for a Friday.  Saturday's are booked up all through the summer by the sounds of it.

Just one word of warning - the service is not brilliant.  I think perhaps they have overstretched themselves a little, as we waited quite a while for our food and then they got the order wrong - bf was merrily tucking into ribs, chicken wings, chili, jumbalaya, and jerk chicken while I was left looking at three bits of fish and some salad (I don't eat meat).  After about ten minutes the waiter came round, looked at my food and was mortified and went to sort it, and we ended up having a fab meal, so it was okay, but there was a table of 8 behind us who seemed to have the same problem and ended up refusing to pay!

:o :o :o I've just looked at the menu.  I can't believe it.  Catfish?  Sweet Potatoes?  Pineapple Upside down cake???  I can't believe it!  I just assumed I would be leaving all that wonderful food behind me come January.  How exciting!

I just caught the episode from Kitchen Nightmares for the second time and I want to visit this place more than ever!  The food looks delicious, and I like small places with that extra charm.  Next time I get down to Brighton, definitely.

It's not small anymore!

I have also found a similar place in London...just down the road from the Immigration Tribunal in Islington!  I am going to give that place a go soon and see how it works out.  It was a lot cheaper too!
