We leave for thailand tonight,

and all i see on every website with forecast is ten days of RAIN

I am so upset it is untrue.  I am not traveling 12 hours to be in rain ALL DAY.

I am beside myself.  I know it's better than being at work but please think of me and think of positive weather thoughts!!!!!!

Positive thoughts for good weather.  Just remember, the weathermen don't know everything :)  Have a fantastic time no matter what!  Safe travels  :D

i was expecting a few hours of rain a day when i booked it as i researched the beginning of the rainy season

i'm just super nervous i'm not going to be able to do anything in the sea and that will SUCK due to choppy weather

Unfortunately you're right......you booked your trip for well into monsoon season in Thailand in particular and  Southeast Asia in general which runs till around November. The upside is that along with the daily rain you'll eke out some sun too so it won't be a total washout. It'll still be warm but muggy with the moisture in the air.

they said it started end of june.  i thought we'd be able to get SOME sun!!!!!

Maybe it'll just be part of the time. Hey, I booked a hillwalking holiday in mid-Wales at the end of August. I've already started shopping for waterproofs. Are we both insane? haha

Positive side - A rainy holiday in Thailand with the one you love.  Much better than being at work.  Plus, it may force you to relax.  Sometimes we try to do too much on holiday!
