WOW.. :o :o :o :o  what a game between Italy and Germany.  Didn't end the way I would have liked, but that was the best game I have ever watched.  Both teams deserved to win that game.

I thought it was mind numbingly dull until extra time.  Some great saves from both keepers though.  I am delighted that the German's didn't win..it's all about France now (I hope!).

Woo hoo Italy!  Poor Germany though....my colleague over there is so unhappy.  I have decided to try to find a place to watch the final now - no TV at home!

That game...sucked.  The Italians are angering me, because so far they have managed to get through to the final on luck in the last few minutes of every game.  They haven't planned well since the group stages (and not even that much then!), but merely planted a good ball in the dying moments of every game.  I don't like Italy & I don't like the way they planned.  Up until the last round, I thought Germany could take the Cup, but some reason they dropped off in the last 2 games.  Pity, because they could've easily beat the Italians if they played like they had been.  That game just left me rather bitter.

Vive la France!

ouch.  I'm with ya though, I did not want Italy going through to the finals.  We can only hope France takes care of Portugal now because I think they have a better chance against Italy.

I have really grown to hate the portugal side.  I just don't think they're sporting at all.  I really hope France wins now.

I was rooting for France although I didn't want them to win anymore for the weird reason that if they won, the managing director of our department will win the pool money and he's a millionaire and um he doesn't need it. But that is a stupid reason for not wanting them to win so now I am rooting for France mostly, but I think Italy is a really good team, better than France in fact, and I wouldn't mind it too much if Italy wins.

My husband is at the final in Germany. He and his uncle, cousin, and a couple other guys won some table football competition sponsored by Tennent, where they had to play table football against a whole lot of other teams. They won and their prize was an expenses paid trip to Germany where they are staying in a 4 star hotel.

Yeah, I know!

And I was thinkin' "Hm all you did was play table football and beat about 20 or so other teams, that prize is way too nice for such a thing  ;D  :P

He's having such a great time right now.

I work in a unit that is run by Italians, the director, my supervisor and everywhere you go, there is Italian spoken more than any other language.  If the Italians win, it will be unbearable at work tomorrow.  I'm cheering for France - also because DS picked France in his pool and they are playing more sportsmanlike than the Italians.
