Anyone been to Europa Park?

My DH grew up visiting this place alot (they lived in Switzerland and would drive there). It is located in southern Germany. Anyway, we want to do something as a family in September, and Disney  , as addicted as we are, is a bit steep for us. I'm in the process of crunching the Euros and £s to see if this is any cheaper. Since it's been years since my DH went, I was just wondering if anyone has been and what you thought.

It's been a few years since the last visit, but it reminded us of a Disney copy-cat type park.  There were similar rides and shows as Disney has. It was nice and clean and our children enjoyed it.  But what we adults enjoyed most the last time we went  was the huge antique flohmarkt going on just down the road!   So we dropped the kids at the gate and went shopping!!  Happy memories for all!
