Filing joint - physical presence question

If my husband and I have been out of the UK for different periods, how do we determine the physical presence test?  Apologies if I am not asking this properly but as we have traveled separately, we've been out of the country at different times and thus have different periods that we've actually lived here...

Geeta - the PPT requires at least 330 days outside of the United States in any period of 365 days.  As you and your husband file separate forms 2555 there are no reasons why each form 2555 should not have entirely different answers...
