Please recommend a restaurant!

In London. Looking for something that won't break the bank and is a little more special than Wagamama.

Thanks! :)

Can you be a little more specific - type of cuisine, price range, is it a special occasion, location, etc?  There are way too many restaurants in London...

Sorry, I'm open to all kinds of cuisines. Just want to take my husband out for dinner somewhere on Friday night. I'd like to stay semi-central but will travel for something worth experiencing.

I know I'm late on this...but if anyone else ever wants an inexpensive meal...I can suggest Little Bay (I go to the one in Kilburn)...it's inexpensive and really good!

DH and I always like Pizza Express or Ask.  We love the pizza there as they are unique and aren't the basic pizza hut type stuff.  The atmosphere is definately classier than a pizza hut and still a decent price for a nice dinner with choices of pizza that aren't the common types.   It's nice to be able to sit outside too and have a glass of beer or wine with dinner. There are tons of them around.

Cat's Café des Artistes.  It's a Thai restaurant in north London (Finsbury Park) - absolutely FABULOUS and the prices are a steal.  Literally, you can get out there spending less than £20/person with starters/mains/drink.  My ex & I used to frequent this restaurant whenever we could get up there because of the value.  The food is exceptional - my favorite is the starter of Thai sausages (you must try this!), and the atmosphere is comfortable and interesting (very thematically Thai).  Great for dates, family, or just friends - or alone!  They also do takeaway.

If you Google the name, you can find an address.  I'm pretty sure the Tube stop is Finsbury Park, but don't quote me on that.
