Visa Approved!!!

Hmph that's weird.

I got a tracking number, it seems like the right one, but its post dated July 28th which is tomorrow. It says "July 28th: data received by Fed Ex" maybe someone just entered in the wrong date. Maybe the site is messed up? Does anyone know if Fed Ex delivers on Saturdays? I'll be at Disney during the day so I'll need to find someone to be at home to get the package if there's a liklihood that it'll be delievered then. I'm thinking probably Monday though, which I'm actually fine about lol.

I sent my papers in on the 20th and got my email notification on the 25th but I am still waiting for my approved email. Knock on wood.

What do you actually get. Is it a card or some type of certificate? I wonder if they let me in after they see the photo.. I look like a some kind of serial killer!! LOL!!

You should get your approval email tomorrow or the latest Monday I would think, unless they need an interview. I believe the visa is the shape of one page of your passport, glued in, with your photo. Kind of like the photo page of your passport, but obviously saying United Kingdom and Visa on it. I googled "UK Visa" and got a few images...I can't wait to see mine 

Congrats to you!  My acceptance was in my US passport with my pic - that was in April, now married and living in UK!

Got it in the mail around 12:30pm.  I have to say it wasn't as impressive as I thought it would be, and seems silly to get stressed out over a little piece of paper glued in my passport, but that's in hindsight

Along with my passport and H's passport (which were papercliped to the binder on the outside and inside) I got back my binder. But they kept:

My CV
H's first wage slip from job (only two days)
Copies of my HS diploma and BA degree (photocopies)
Our cover letter and letter of support
H's parents letter of co-sponsorship
H's dad's wage slips (print outs that were signed by him)
My latest bank statement (of the 4 months I put in the binder)

The page protectors, photos, and all original documents (besides my H's wage slip) were given back.

I just got approved for my UK student visa, but mine didn't have a Fed Ex number.  All it said was this:

Your Visa Application @ Los Angeles (Ref: ******)
Date:   Wed, 9 Aug 2006 00:01:54 +0100

Your application has been approved and the visa has been issued.

This is an automated message - do not respond to this email address as incoming mail is not answered.  If you need to reply telephone the office dealing with your application, quoting your reference number.

Am I supposed to get an e-mail later on with the Fed Ex info?  And if I just got that e-mail today, does that mean my stuff will be delievered tomorrow or the next day?

Haha, I'm too excited!

I got the exact same thing and never got a tracking number.  The visa arrived the second day after (it probably didn't get into the mail until the next business day).
