ILR Appointment?
« on: July 31, 2006, 10:54:40 AM »
Um....i am an idiot i think

How do i call up to schedule an appointment to get my ILR?  I can't seem to find a number and i know it is in an obvious place but i'm feeling a bit braindead recently.....

I moved here September 11, 04.....so I'm assuming i can set an appointment mid august?

Thanks!

The Croydon PEO number is 0870 606 7766.  I made my appointment (Liverpool) a month ahead of time, but some people have recently said that the PEOs are only taking appointments two weeks ahead of time now.

So i just called to make my appointment for the 28 days before my Spouse visa expires.... (so i wanted to book an appointment for the 16th)

BUT she said i can't even book an appointment until i am within the 28 days of expiry of the visa...

so i have to wait till the 14th to call and schedule an appointment?  Bummer!!!

Isn't it so tempting to lie about the expiration date to book the appointment!?!? :-) I have to admit I am starting to dread going through another Visa step!

I know time has really flown by! We are heading to the States for two weeks. I told myself I wouldnt worry about ILR until after that trip...but I find my mind keeps floating towards that thought. I have until October...so not a huge hurry ---but It is just another one of those things that has to be done. Since I work at a school the summer is the best time for me to deal with things. I have a huge box that I have just thrown paperwork into for the past two years. I think when I return from the states it is time to sort through it. We have very very few things in both our names----things always have to be more complicated! :)

Don't stress!  We did it by post (Because I was 9 1/2 months pregnant and could not go to the office) it took one evening to get everything together and it was so easy.  Seriously, I didn't stress but that was because I was already freaking about giving birth.  GL!!!

Thanks for starting this post. I've just started to worry about the whole ILR thing and I have until December to wait to put my application through.

Good luck Aimiloo!
